Satanic Leaf Tailed Geckos have been born! Both of our females first two eggs have hatched, incubated for 82 and 86 days. The first hatchling appears to be a male, and the second female. We found another egg this week as well and have one already incubating. Season is off to a great start!

I find it rather odd that people always associate reptiles like snakes and lizards with something evil or diabolic when these creatures are really more scared of us. They are just there minding their own business and they try to stay away from us. I heard that they carry spirits of the departed. I am also reading a lot of alien fiction about them. They say they are the original inhabitants of planet earth. Maybe this is why they are portrayed as enemies in religious scriptures.
